Role Description
We're hiring a Product Engineer to increase our product velocity and help implement new functionalities into a robust, scalable product.
This is not a typical "full-stack" role. You will work directly with the founders to turn ambiguous problems into working product features, design and build core parts of the system, improve architecture and reliability, and help define how we build software using AI-assisted development workflows.
You will have high ownership from day one and direct impact on product, customers, and technical direction.

What You'll Do
Own backend systems end-to-end: APIs, services, data flows
Go from a customer conversation to deployed, production-ready code
Improve system architecture, scalability, and reliability as we grow
Work across the stack when needed (Streamlit frontend today)
Help shape development practices and how we use AI tools (Cursor, etc.) to ship faster
Contribute to product and technical decisions alongside the founders
What We're Looking For
Strong Python skills with a backend-first mindset
Track record of shipping real products to real users, not just prototypes
Ability to operate in ambiguity: you make good decisions with incomplete information
Strong problem-solving and good judgement on trade-offs between speed, quality, and scope
Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-moving startup environment
Nice to have: experience with FastAPI, data pipelines, or cloud deployment; familiarity with ML/AI systems; effective use of AI coding tools.
